Weekly tuition amount ($)

Tuition: Due each Sunday by 12:00 p.m. A $25.00 late fee applies after 12:00 p.m. on Sunday. If payment is not received by 5:00 p.m. on Monday, child care services may be suspended.

Late pick-up: $5.00 per 15-minute period (or portion thereof) after the scheduled pick-up time; due at pick-up.

Full tuition is due on provider personal days, reset days, and holidays unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Policies & Agreement

Provider Vacation and Sick Leave

The Provider may take up to five (5) paid personal or sick days per calendar year. Client is responsible for arranging alternate child care during the Provider's absence. Full weekly tuition remains due on these days.

Reset Days

The Provider will schedule up to four (4) reset days per calendar year for deep cleaning, sanitization, and operational maintenance. Full weekly tuition remains due on reset days. Advance notice will be provided when possible.

Incidental Expenses

Client agrees to reimburse the Provider for reasonable incidental expenses related to the child's care, including but not limited to diapers, formula, special meals, or activity supplies.

Illness Policy

Children showing signs of illness, including fever, may not attend. In a medical emergency, the Provider will take appropriate action and notify Client immediately.

Medication Policy

Medication required during care hours must be accompanied by written authorization and clear dosing instructions from Client. All medications will be stored securely out of children's reach.

Communication

The Provider and Client will maintain regular communication. The Provider will share daily updates regarding activities, meals, rest, and any concerns. Client is encouraged to share instructions or concerns promptly.

Drop-Off and Pick-Up Procedures

Client must notify the Provider of any changes to drop-off or pick-up arrangements. Only authorized individuals listed in this agreement may pick up the child.

Emergencies

In an emergency or natural disaster, the Provider will follow established emergency procedures and contact Client as soon as it is safe to do so.

Guidance and Discipline

The Provider uses positive guidance and does not use corporal punishment. If behavioral concerns arise, the Provider and Client will meet to discuss appropriate solutions.

Termination of Services

The Provider may terminate services immediately if a child's presence poses a safety risk to the Provider or other children. Either party discontinuing care must provide two (2) weeks' written notice; tuition for the notice period remains due. Client is responsible for outstanding fees and reasonable collection costs.

Outdoor Play Permission

Children participate in daily outdoor play including, but not limited to:

  • Trampoline use (when age-appropriate and supervised)
  • Playhouse and imaginative play
  • Playground equipment
  • Running, climbing, and group games
  • General outdoor exploration

Client understands outdoor activities carry inherent risk of minor injury. Client grants permission for participation and releases Discovery Day Daycare from liability during normal outdoor play, except in cases of gross negligence.
